'Tis the season of flannels, ankle booties, rich colors and floppy hats. There are so many reasons to wear a flannel shirt these days. Understanding the significance of style and comfort is something that my wardrobe can appreciate.

I have been wanting to find a good quality flannel shirt for some time now and I've finally found it. The flannel shirts I've owned in the past aren't thick and soft enough for my liking. I want a flannel to be cozy and comfortable and still be fashionable. The flannel above is from Madewell. I love the plaid pattern and dark colors; they are the perfect combo for a cozy fall day. The quality is one that I think will last, and only get better with time. 


I have also been searching for an oxblood color floppy hat, just for fall. I think a floppy hat can work for me in so many ways. When I only have a few minutes to get out of the door but don't want to sacrifice style, a cute hat spices up my look. And let's face it, we all have a few bad hair days here and there, especially if you live in a humid climate. 
I think the hat and your favorite pair of booties would go perfectly with the Madewell flannel.

Holiday Palette: Benefit Cosmetics Cheeky Sweet Spot Box O' Blushes

  The packaging is adorable. It is a tin that is in the design of a candy store. All of the blushes inside have a little glitter to give you a sheen but the glitter is not chunky, so they are good for everyday use and the hoola bronzer is matte, so it is good to use for contouring. love this cheek palette!

Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. I turned a busy productive weekend into a fun one. I helped my family and friends knock some important things off their "Fall to do List." 
Thankfully the weather cooperated and we had three pretty days down south. Our neighborhood had its fall festival, yes, the season is here! Even though it is still a little warm here, there seems to be a nice breeze. I wanted to dress comfy and fun, but still feel I was dressing for the season. It was really quite comfortable and fit right into this pumpkin spice and all things nice time of year.

College Football

FALL...
 It's the season I look to the most.
Bonfires with friends and family, college football (ROLL TIDE), the crisp smell of the air and the nice breeze instead of a heat wave lurking around.  Oh and what about the fall candles (mmm... Bath and Body Works fall candles are my favorite)

I have nothing bad to say about Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam. It's just a good everyday face wash; for morning and night. I don't find it to be drying, and it gets the job done.

Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion


There are pros and cons with this toner. On one hand this product works very well for me. It gets off the excess oil that causes breakouts on my skin and takes off any leftover residue or dirt that was not removed from just using the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam face wash. On the other hand I have very dry skin so the Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Lotion tends to be too much for my skin if I use it every day morning and night, so I  have begun using it only every other day and I have seen a big difference.

Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Clearing Moisturizer


I have recently discovered that this product is better to use on one section of your face that you see acne. Instead of your entire face because it can easily dry your skin out. Even though it has the word moisturizer in the name, I still feel the need to use an extra moisturizer. My favorite is the Aveeno Daily Moisturizer.

This stuff is great! I have found that it is best to use it at night after I have used the 3-Step Solutions Program. I can see a REAL result when I wake up. Best spot treatment that I have tried.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Daily Moisturizer SPF 15

I have recently found this product and all I can say is WOW !
This is the first moisturizer from the drugstore that has really brought moisture back and has calmed my dry skin! I have not  seen a REAL improvement from a lot of drugstore moisturizers except this Aveeno Positively Radiant Skin Daily Moisturizer. It is a MUST try!

ps: It has SPF 15! Who doesn't love one less step in the morning.
