My Christmas Wishlist: Top 5

My Top 5 On My Christmas Wishlist

1 / 23 / 4 / 5

1- I have had the same blow dryer for about 5 years, but it is starting to finally give out. I have been looking for a new one for a couple of months; when I saw this one online at Sephora it landed on my 'Top 5 List.  Dry Bar came out with a holiday kit that comes with the blow dryer, a detangler brush, a medium round brush, volumizing shampoo and conditioner, and volumizing hairspray. I definitely hope to find this under the tree.

2- I am a visual person, so when I don't write down something I need to do, I tend to forget. I have been wanting a nice and functional day book and just haven't been able to find a good one until... now!

3 and 4- I love jewelry, especially bracelets. My Mom has a few Alex and Ani bracelets and they are beautiful. I love how the charm dangles, but are not uncomfortable, yet seem so simple and elegant.

5- Sadly, I recently broke my Beats. I absolutely loved them and really used them so much. I wore them anytime I was watching youtube videos or music. I absolutely love the color of these above.

For the girl that loves all things beauty related, Santa should not have a problem finding unique and fun gifts.
So many of my favorite brands offer fun holiday gift sets that are perfect for stuffing someones stocking.

Fall Trend: Fringe Benefit with HM

Top: American Eagle / Cardigan: H&M  / Jeans: American Eagle /
Shoes: White Mountain (similar) / Necklace: Gold Knot Necklace [can't remember](similar) / Sunglasses: Crap Eye Wear / Bag:
Forever 21 / Lips: Covergirl 'Euphoria' / Nails: OPI 'Jade is the New Black'

Happy Monday!
Fringe is a big trend for fall and while I didn't want a closet full of it, I have been craving a cardigan with fringe. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a trend that could fade quickly, so when I saw this style at H&M for only $35 I just had to grab it. The cardigan is subtle with the fridge, unlike a few I have seen. If you're like me and want to satisfy a fringe craving without breaking the bank, I recommend this one from H&M.

Are you gonna try the Fringe Trend?

Go Green with OPI for Fall

My favorite nail polish brand is OPI. The formula is great; it's creamy and easy to apply especially with the bigger brush applicator.

I recently picked up this color 'Jade is the New Black'. It is gorgeous! The dark green color is very opaque and is a perfect unexpected color that will be great with my new cozy flannels and transition right into the holidays with some cute holiday sweaters. The color is a must have for this season!

You can get 'Jade is the New Black' here and here.

How to Wear: J.Crew Blazer 3 Different Ways Part One

Top: J.Crew / Blazer: J.Crew / Jeans: American Eagle Boots: Target [old] (similar) / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Classic Clubmaster / Necklace: J.Crew and Eve's Addiction / Nail Polish: OPI 'My Point Exactly' (here and here/ Lips: Lipliner- Jordana 'Tawny'

In the past, I felt as though I couldn't really wear a pattern or statement piece a variety of ways, at least that tends to be the trend with statement or pattern pieces that I have purchased in the past. I would wear them only a handful of times, all the same way, but not anymore!

Now I try to think outside the box and remind myself that the only limitations are in my mind. I love color, textures, and patterns. Feeling comfortable is very important to me; so is feeling put together without spending tons of time staring in my closet.

Mixing patterns, textures, statement pieces and unexpected colors give me so many looks for my investment, and it also defines my style. There is indeed a difference between inexpensive, trendy styles and more costly investment pieces. They both serve a purpose in my closet ... and budget.

I love this J.Crew Factory blazer; it is amazing! It's comfortable but still has structure. I love the pattern and colors, and it will never go out of style. ( I love me some plaid.)

I have decided to write a three part series showing how I am going to wear this J.Crew blackwatch blazer a minimum of three different ways to spice up my fall style.  This jacket is going to be an important piece in my closet this fall and winter, especially because I know I can throw it on with so many things and get out of the door in a rush.

In the first of three part series I wear the blazer in a more expected way, and one that most of us tend to feel more comfortable....paired with denim jeans. This look makes the blazer feel more casual while still feeling put together.

I also mixed grey stripes with the blackwatch plaid. This is a great fitting J.Crew tee and very versatile and comfy. I feel like the plaid blackwatch blazer is an unexpected choice to wear over grey stripes and dresses up my tee.

Do you like mixing patterns and putting together unexpected looks?
